Berens River is a First Nations reserve community located on the eastern shore of Lake Winnipeg 150 miles north of Winnipeg. A mission charge dating from around 1871 when a Methodist mission was established there. John Niddrie served the congregation from 1920-1938. This photo is c 1930s. UC rchivesWpg garrett 013.
