Margaret (Reid) May (b. 1935) attended the University of Alberta from 1954 – 1956 for teacher training and after a year of teaching in Edmonton, went to teach at the Norway House Day/Residential School, in Norway House, Manitoba. She taught at Norway House from 1957 – 1959.
The images in the fonds are from her time teaching at the school and from a later trip back to the community in 1969.
